These are our full training prices. There are no hidden extras. Your D4 medical is booked for you and your theory and CPC test fees are covered; we cover every DVSA test fee as well, so there is nothing extra to pay on top.
Career Plus adds £499 to any package. It is a flat uplift, not a different price list, and it adds priority test slots and extended post-pass support.
One-to-one tuition with a DVSA-approved instructor on full-size vehicles, help arranging your D4 medical, guidance through the D2 provisional application, theory and hazard perception preparation, and your practical test booked and managed for you.
Finance is available through Snap Finance, subject to status and credit checks. The eligibility check takes a few minutes and does not commit you to booking.
No training provider can guarantee a pass, and you should treat any school that claims otherwise with caution. What we do is support you through a retest with additional training and a new test booking, quoted clearly at the time.
For a fuller breakdown of what each package covers, what the DVSA test fee adds and how monthly finance works, read our guide to what HGV training actually costs in 2026.
Each price above is the full cost. We cover your D4 medical, your theory and Driver CPC test fees and every DVSA practical test fee, so there is nothing extra to pay on top of the figure quoted.
We train drivers from Maidstone, Dartford, Ashford, Canterbury, Kent, Medway, Dover & Folkestone, Thanet, Essex, Sussex, Surrey, South London & Bromley, East London & Romford, Sittingbourne, Gravesend, Margate, East Sussex, West Sussex.
Comparing HGV course prices is harder than it should be, and that is not accidental. A headline figure of a few hundred pounds is usually training days only, on the shortest possible course, with every government fee stripped out and added back later. By the time a learner has paid the medical, the theory fees, the Driver CPC case study fee and three separate DVSA practical fees, the cheap quote is rarely cheap.
Three questions settle it quickly with any provider. Does this figure include the DVSA test fees. How many training days am I actually getting. Do you own the vehicles, or are you booking me into somebody else’s school. A provider who cannot answer the third one plainly is a broker.
There is nothing to pay at the test centre and no second invoice afterwards. That is the whole point of publishing the price.
Payment plans are available on every route. Snap Finance runs the standard application, and if it is declined a friend or family member can apply on your behalf, which is the route most people are never told about. Klarna is available on our packages. We also hold a limited fund of our own for learners where paying up front is the only obstacle — it is discretionary and not everyone qualifies, but it costs nothing to ask.
Yes. Every DVSA fee on your route is inside the price quoted, including the off-road manoeuvring test that some providers leave out of the comparison.
No. Coming straight from a car licence you sit one set of theory tests, not two, and the practical stages run back to back.
Not overall, but it gets you earning sooner. Straight to Class 1 costs less in total; Class 2 first costs more in total but puts a wage in your hand months earlier. Which is better depends entirely on your situation, and it is a five-minute phone conversation.
Shorter course, smaller vehicle, fewer test stages. It is the least expensive route into commercial driving and the usual choice for ambulance, courier, horsebox and motorhome drivers.
